Objectives
BHARAT-EU aims to develop, optimise, integrate and demonstrate two parallel, complementary waste-to-renewable-hydrogen pathways within a unified process concept for producing renewable hydrogen with a near-zero carbon footprint.
Six objectives driving the project
BHARAT-EU focuses on maximising resource and energy efficiency, improving carbon-to-hydrogen conversion, ensuring safe operation, and reducing environmental impacts while enhancing industrial applicability.
Secure sustainable feedstock supply and quality assurance
Advance technology development of complementary processes
Generate fundamental models
Establish inherently safer hydrogen production principles
Conduct holistic assessment of the overall process concept
Demonstrate hydrogen production and validate with end-users
See how the two pathways come together
Explore the Indian and European conversion routes and the integrated BHARAT-EU process concept.
